About me

Hello! I’m Theo and I work as a psychologist. I have been interested in psychology since I was a teenager. People have always interested me, and I find it fascinating how we are all so different yet similar. I am originally from The Netherlands. I lived in Finland for 2 years and after that, I moved to Estonia. I have been working as a psychologist for 6 years. I have worked with people who have depression, anxiety, trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders and individuals who have experienced psychosis.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Sports Psychology. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or simply seeking personal growth and self-discovery, I’m here to provide support, guidance, and practical strategies for positive change. Please note that I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.

I work as a psychologist at Clarente (Mental Health Center). In addition, I am a partner with the unemployment center, Spring Health (a digital mental health company that provides therapy and mental health support) and I am doing my PhD at Tartu University. I am registered as a Psychologist-Counsellor (EQF Level 7), a member of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST), Eesti Skeemiteraapia Assotsiatsioon (Estonian Schema Therapy Association) and the Estonian Association of Psychologists (Eesti Psühholoogide Liit), the professional association for psychologists in Estonia. I also receive supervision.
